When the planet was destroyed by its failing sun there was only one survivor of this race from deep in outer space who travelled for many years until he reached earth as a small child. It was not long since he crashed on the planet before his new family, a kindly old couple who had no children of their own stopped and found him all alone. Almost instantly the new parents knew that this boy was not from around these parts because he could pick up cars, kick bags of wheat over the barn and run faster than light before he should have been able to walk. This little boy was a super child, a super boy who was named Clark Kent after his new families name. They were a happy family until in his final year of high school when the remains of his old planet catch up with him in a major meteor shower that causes some people to get super powers too.

From this day Clark realizes that he will be fighting the bad guys for most of his life because he is one person that can do something about the growing evil that is coming out of America. More and more people who are developing abnormal powers from the meteors that gave off radioactivity start to come out of their hiding places. Tom Welling as Clark Kent the young Superman starts to fight the crime and bad guys even if these guys are trying to do good because eventually the power goes to their head and they get dangerous. In the town of Smallville which is where he landed on his first day on earth Clark still helps to run the farm with his parents while saving the earth and still going to college. In 2010 he stars in a film which is the new version of what is happening in the Smallville series which helps to kick off the next series of the earlier superman chronicles. Tom Welling is an actor that has won several awards and done a really great job of his role as Clark Kent.
